With over 100 primary and junior students committed to STEM Clubs on Tuesdays and Thursdays to say that the STEM Club teachers are overwhelmed is an understatement! Students have been using 40 minutes of their lunch time to explore concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Currently, we are focused on using KEVA Planks to build structures that meet a set of criteria. We have been amazed at the ingenuity, creativity, collaboration and growth mindset that students have showcased during our times together.
We have now decided to split our four different groups into two groups. Mme El Boury and Mme Andrew's groups meet on Tuesdays and Mr. Breaw and Mr. Gard's groups meet on Thursdays. In this way, we can ensure that each student gets a robust STEM experience!
Thanks to Mme El Boury, Mme Andrews and Mr. Breaw for giving up their lunches to oversee this HUGE learning experience for students.
